Black Lamborghini

Black Lamborghini looks pretty sick, especially when it is a 2008 Edo Competition Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Versione Nardo. With a 6.5 liter V12 and 663 hp @ 7800 rpm, it can accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.4 secs. This Lamborghini has the capability to reach a top speed of 216mph.

How about a special edition black Lamborghini Gallardo Nera. The Gallardo Nera is a limited-production version which features a glossy black paint with a V10 engine and 520 horsepower. Only 185 units are available.

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster, by its very nature the V12 powered Italian super car is a limited edition vehicle, especially with only 50 units of the special edition open air Murcielago in existence around the world. However the owner of of one of these high performance power houses has taken an extra step to ensure that his LP is truly a one of a kind machine.

The Murcielago owner opted to cover the car in a matte black finish complete with gloss black highlights as well as a set of custom GFG three piece forged Narkid wheels measuring 19 inches in diameter, with orange accents to match the massive brake calipers, wrapped in a set of sticky Pirelli tires. Meanwhile the Murcielago’s interior gets a one of a kind custom audiophile sound system from Al & Eds Autosound as well as an Escort SRX "Ticket Avoidance System" to help with the consequences of having 650 HP on tap.

lamborghini vs bugatti

It’s a great day for Gran Turismo fans around the world, as it has just been revealed that the both Lamborghini and Bugatti are bringing their cars to Gran Turismo PSP and, presumably, Gran Turismo 5! The news came as Sony announced a special pre-order promotion for GT PSP, which entitles you to some type of code that gives you access to one of the following cars from “day one” in the game:

lamborgini and ferrari

Y’all ready to impersonate 12-year-old boys? Cool. Hunter S. Thompson had a quick question he used to sum people up, “Beatles or Stones?” I’m thinking “Ferrari or Lamborghini?” is the automotive corollary. So let’s stop and think for a minute — both makes offer gobs of power from exotic engines, savage shapes and the type of instant prestige you can only hope to buy. Ferraris are pretty sweet. I mean, the racing history alone might grab a few (or many) votes. From the 166M to the 250 GTO to the 333 SP the results speak louder than my best metaphors. And that’s not even taking into account F1. And what about the road cars? Daytona? 288 GTO? F40? F430? Etc, etc? Like wow, dude. But then you have the raging bulls, the supercars that Ferruccio Lamborghini built specifically to spite Enzo and his long standing “the customer is always wrong” policy. I’m talking Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago and Gallardo here. Not to mention the LM002 and Espada. There’s also the fact that most Ferrari owners would happily pledge Omega House. I’m not saying that Lamborghini owners are necessarily Delta Tau Chi material, but what do you think Bluto, D Day and Otter would drive?

lamborghini vs ferrari2010 ferrari or lamborghini

A Lamborghini has more horsepower than a Ferrari, but a Ferrari has more control. Ferraris are proven to be competitive and have 50 years motor racing history behind them, which includes Formula One. Lamborgini doesn't have anywhere near the same racing history. This makes Ferrari more purposeful (i.e., track-oriented). Lamborghini on the other hand has produced some of the most evocative car designs in the history of motoring (the Miura and the Countach are two notable examples).
But now that Lamborghini is owned by Audi - it's hard to predict if they have become better or worse.

In any case, Lamborghini is more exclusive than Ferrari. Whether that is better depends on how fast one wants to drive. It is a very tough decision. Lamborghini is a classic car, and is very stylish, but a lot of Lamborghinis look alike, so one looks like the other. Ferrari is an extremely good brand, and is known for top-quality, but is prone to being stolen (at least much more often than a Lamborghini). In my personal opinion, I would say that a Ferrari tops the Lamborghini.

Well for me, it's definitely Lamborghini! I don't care about all the Ferrari popularity and racing history, it's highly overrated! Lamborghini has much better looking cars these days with fantastic high tech interior! I'm a Lamborghini fanatic/supporter! My favorite models are the Gallardo Superleggera, the LP560-4, the LP550-2, the Murcielago LP640, the LP670-4 Superveloce & the ultimate Reventon! Ferrari has too much front engine GT's and they don't look like a supercar for me, the Enzo is ugly! The only Ferrari I like is F430 Scuderia, but it's a strip down racer, so the interior isn't too comfortable. Even the most luxurious Ferrari doesn't make me feel classy. Lamborghini, produces supercars with stunning design, truly explosive/super performance and beautiful interior! Lamborghini is determined to be the best supercar manufacturer in the world. Ferraris are so ugly, especially the Enzo. If you want class and respect go with a Lamborghini.

lamborghini alar

Lamborghini Alar is a mid-engined sports car produced by Lamborghini LatinoAmerica. A unit is rumored to cost $750,000 each.[1] The Alar was heavily based on the Diablo especially in the areas of chassis and engine. Other components are made locally by the company. It has yet to be produced with rumors suggesting first production will be in March 2008 but has not yet come to production due to a lack of customer orders.

lamborghini ankonian

A couple of days back, we had a look at the Lamborghini Madura concept, and now there’s a more aggressive concept from designer Slavche Tanevsky in the form of the Lamborghini Ankonian concept. According to the designer, the Ankonian takes the design of the Reventon to the next level, even though the concept itself manages a unique expression. The supercar concept has a more aggressive design, and is downsized to account for a more environment-friendly status, though it does not include any hybrid or similar technologies.

The mid-engined supercar has a narrow and rather complex-looking body, with a garnishing of GT proportions. Thin OLEDs embedded between the surfaces function as headlights, and while all those lines may look weird, the Ankonian supposedly makes the best use of it all. The concept was named after a bull type famous for black hair, and since the designer had some help from professional designers at Lamborghini and Audi, the finished model has impressive looks.

New Lamborghini 2011 2012

It is still about four months before the doors on the 2010 Geneva Auto Show will open, but as usual the rumor mill is working overtime already, some say that we will see a production version of the Estoque in Switzerland while other insist a new flagship is in the making, positioned above the Murciélago, while a third group merely talks about a successor to the current flagship.

Whichever direction the factory is heading for, I'm sure that they will again surprise us all in Geneva next year, be it with a new front engined V12 GT or the latest incarnation of the mid-engine V12 exotic.

For a while the name 'Jota' surfaced again, first used on the magnificent, one of a kind Miura built by Bob Wallace in the late Sixties and later used again to denote a special tuning package available on the already limited edition Diablo SE 30 ... both extreme super cars in their own time, so giving this name to a new model wouldn't be a bad idea.

The SV was also used again, it first came to be used on the Miura swan song to become one of the most sought after Lamborghini ever and later on the Diablo was again chosen to wear a large 'SV' on the sides so you could recognize it as the rear wheel drive, lighter version of the VT model ... and behold, it is now used on the most impressive Murciélago ever made, the SuperVeloce, so why not use the Jota again too ?

Be it a new model or a successor to the Murciélago, a few things we can assume already : it will most likely use a carbon fiber chassis and a freshly developed V12 engine with a displacement of at least 6 Liter with a power output near 700 Bhp if it is to compete with the latest exotics on the market in the near future ... the Prancing Horse isn't standing still either, so the Raging Bull will have to show it's supremacy once again.

By the way, remember the name Urus ? It was registered years ago, even before the Estoque saw the day of light in Paris, so it could be used for a new car couldn't it ? But that hasn't been confirmed by any reliable source, so it is pure speculation at this moment, and actually is sounds rather weird doesn't it ?

But let's take a totally different approach : the Estoque was very well received during the unveiling in Paris, now over a year ago, however the bad economy make it disappear onto the shelves, but now we see that the Porsche is selling rather well, even the Aston is selling steadily and behold, a new A8 model is making it's way to Geneva next year, probably with another S8 derivative using the Gallardo V10 engine somewhere down the line. And what's even more is the fact that Bugatti is also contemplating a four door super sedan to enter, be it limited, production.

So the idea of a Lamborghini four door GT isn't so far fetched as some people think it is, this would be a brand new segment in the super car market for Lamborghini since the Espada went out of production back in 1978, and it would be a smart move I think. Automobili Lamborghini is also thinking about hybrid models, a four door would be an ideal candidate for such a power plant, a high speed super sedan that can seat four people in class while cruising at high velocity and still have a hybrid propulsion.

If you ask me the cards are still out on the table right now, one thing is for sure, there will be something special on display at the Lamborghini stand in Geneva early March 2010, but any details on what it will exactly be is wishful thinking, one thing we can be sure about however : it will have four wheels and wear the Raging Bull emblem with proud !
